First, getting educated about what would some of the city centre homes look like and Wordwards is all so classy and stylish! I suppose it has to be when it cost about CAN$3-5 million per unit, according to my cousin. Though, we didn't visit his friend's home, we went up to the top of the building where the gym and lounge were. This place is super sweet. The lounge was comfortably furnished with couches and there were pool tables at one corner of the big room. There were kitchen facilities both indoors and outdoors for the residents to throw barbeques and dinners. Outside, there is a hot tub with couches and sunbathing beds! What a great place for a party!
Second, the view is spectacular. I can see BC place, Telus World of Science and Chinatown from up here. Coming up here, I feel like this is my private tower ride where there is no queues, no hassle. Fantastic!
Third is the history of the building, which I only came to know when I saw a poster of an old building with a huge W signage. Much later, I found out that the original building which has been torn down for redevelopment was once the largest supermarket in North America in the 1900s. The tower which the W stood on was actually a replica of the Eiffel Tower.
Wordward's Building - Wikipedia details the history and structure of the building including pictures of the collapse of the original building and reconstruction.

My first ever to visit a washroom with a view!
