Bago (Pegu): Thatched Houses

As we were moving around Bago, we came upon many thatched-roofed houses whose walls of leaves weaved together. These woven (weaved) and thatched houses were made pretty with designs of dark and light coloured leaves. I am guessing some of these weaved (woven) were also selling weaved walls as building materials.

Thatched and woven house with pieces of woven walls on the grass, perhaps for sale.

I was googling on the very topic of woven houses and I came upon ecofriend's website on "Folding bamboo houses to provide shelter after nature strikes".
